MARC GORONCY currently studies painting at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach, Germany. But instead of oil or acrylic paint he uses the sewing machine to create his compositions. He composes his abstract works from colored textiles an light colored canvas, which forms the basis of almost every painter. Before he takes to the sewing machine, he plans and sketches his idea on paper. Only then he combines the colored patches of textile together leaving clearly visible seams. He also developed a form of drawing, in which he uses the line of sewing similar to a drawn line, without cutting into the canvas. Marc Goroncy combines both techniques with each other. 2018 he was a fellow of the Frankfurter Künstlerhilfe e.V.
